The general assembly of ELSA Switzerland takes place once a year. The location changes every time so that each local group hosts a general assembly on a rotating basis. The general assembly is our highest decision-making body, where the representatives of the local groups come together, elect the ELSA Switzerland National Board and discuss its standing orders.
Taking part in a national meeting is something every member should experience!
Just as the local groups are members of ELSA Switzerland, ELSA Switzerland is a member of ELSA International. Twice a year, we meet at the International Council Meeting (ICM) – the general assembly on the international level. The standing orders are discussed and the new board of ELSAInternational is elected once a year.
You can find the current standing orders of ELSA International here.
